Yes, I have so many useful information to share with you, but today, let’s take it easy (it’s Monday!), and enjoy some pictures of my cutie cat, Brandy. She’s 16 years-old, but she’ll never admit it, and still acts like a kitten.
I think animals have this incredible ability to make us happy, to give us love with no expectations. Zoology is very much a useful therapy for everyone, young and old.
We feed her a really good homemade diet (all organic, of course. She’s my baby, what else would I feed her? 😉 ) with free-range chicken and pumpkin or sweet potato, and extras like wheatgrass, olive or fish oils, and some raw wild caught fish once in a while (her favourite!). Sometimes we add some natural supplements like kelp, aloe juice, yogurt, and parsley. She’s definitely the carnivore in the family. haha She eats way more meat than we do, that’s for sure!
She can be quite demanding sometimes, but she loves me so much, it’s crazy. Just as much as I love her. She’s always there to keep me company when I’m sad, and then growl at me later if she doesn’t want to be picked up. haha She’s been with me since she was 3 months-old. I can’t imagine my life without her.
Anyway, here’s Brandy being cute and silly 🙂

Beautiful cat! I would have never guessed she was 16. I would love to learn more about your cat food recipes if you are interested in sharing them. My cat has some stomach issues and I’ve always wondered if she has an allergy to something in store-bought food.

Absolutely! Poor kitty! 🙁 Mine was throwing up constantly when she was younger, even when I switched to organic and holistic commercial food. Then, I took her to see a holistic vet and discovered that, just like humans, they too suffer the consequences of eating commercial food, which made total sense to me, so that’s when things changed for the better. She is super healthy. I will talk about healthy natural ways to feed our furry friends very soon! 🙂

Great, thanks! I’ve tried so many different types of cat food and nothing seems to help. My vet has never been very concerned about it, but I know getting sick frequently can’t be healthy for her.
