You know how you get a bit hungry in the evening, not enough to actually eat but just enough to be annoying? And because it’s late, you don’t want to eat too much or eat something too heavy? Well, this is a perfect snack to have anytime, including late-night. I had seen some people talking about it before and I always thought: “geez, really?? that’s a ‘recipe’?! you think you’ll get people to eat healthy by showing them THAT?”
Well guess what? I’m doing it now, because it is soooooo good!!! You have to try it! This would make an awesome snack for adults and kids’ lunches too.
It takes a few minutes to make, you only need 3 ingredients and you could use some raw almond butter, which would make this dish totally raw.
Super healthy snack (1-2 servings)
- 1 organic apple of your choice, washed and sliced (I used Gala)
- organic almond butter (I used this one)
- organic chia seeds (I used these)
Yup. That’s it. You place all the apple slices on a plate, add a dab of almond butter on each of them, sprinkle with some chia seeds. That’s it my friends! (If you’re even lazier, you could just have a small container with almond butter and chia seeds in it and take it by the spoon with a bite of the apple. haha) ENJOY!!!!
