It's ok if you want to throw in a few roasted nuts once in a while (like cashews), but these should be used sparingly as toasted nuts don't contain as much nutrients and they generally contain added preservatives on them to slow down the rancid process. Always make sure you buy organic nuts and dried fruits, otherwise they most likely will contain sulfites and they have a much higher risk of being pasteurized or irradiated.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup raw organic almonds
  • 1/4 cup raw walnuts
  • 1/4 cup raw sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup raw pumpkin seeds
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries (unsweetened)
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/8 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 cup organic semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/4 cup roasted organic cashews (optional)

Instructions

  1. Simply mix everything and store in a resealable container (ideally glass).
