Something totally different today, but a subject that I love: interior design!
This is the first guest post I am doing on another blog. Exciting!
I wanted to share a visit of my kitchen, and I thought it’d be great to do it on my friend’s design blog, so I invite you to go visit White Cabana to see more pictures of my kitchen, and a great article I wrote explaining my views on sustainable design and decorating, because that is also another way to be more eco-conscious 🙂
My house is very old (built in the 1850’s) and pretty small (according to North American standards), approx. 850 sq ft, so we chose to keep things light and airy and paint most of it in a creamy white, a perfect theme for White Cabana, since the blog is all about art and design in white!
Go to www.whitecabana.com for the full article.
Here’s a little sneak peak below…

Love your kitchen. Would love to know your paint colours. Also would like to know about Home Hardware cabinets. Better deal than the big box stores? thanks

Thank you! I will have to look for my paint and see if I can find a name for you, I think it might’ve been a colour-match, so I’m not sure… Sorry. Are you located in Canada? I chose Home Hardware because it was a lot cheaper than other stores, and I also liked the fact that the company making them was in Canada (local to me).

Thanks for sharing your kitchen with us! It’s bright, white, and I know a lot of good cookin’ happens in there! What a space full of memories!
