A friend of mine told me about kale chips last year. I gotta say, I wasn’t sold on the idea until she told me about how delicious they were, so I thought I’d give it a try, given how easy it was to make. Basically 5 minutes of prep and 25-30 minutes of baking in the oven and voila! Super healthy paprika and parmesan kale chips! And yes! They are crispy and delicious!
You can try various spices to give you different flavours, but this one is delicious!
You can use paprika only or a combination of paprika and parmesan cheese. I’ve made the paprika only several times. Delish! Make some this weekend!
Enjoy!

Super easy kale chips
- 1 big bunch of fresh organic kale (about 6-8 large leaves)
- 2 tsp good quality olive oil
- 1 pinch of fine grey sea salt
- 1 generous pinch of ground paprika
- 1 Tbsp grated organic Parmesan (optional)
In a large bowl, combine the oil, salt, paprika and Parmesan.
Wash the kale really well and dry everything so there’s no water left.
Cut the stems out and tear or cut the leaves in bite-size pieces.
Add to the bowl at once with the oil mixture and mix really well until every piece is shiny, coated with the oil mixture.
Line a large cookie sheet with unbleached parchment paper. Spread the kale pieces equally, giving them as much space as possible in between.
Bake at 300F for 25-30 minutes. Eat right away when they come out of the oven! Yum!!!
