This post was sponsored by Logan & Finley. I was not paid, but given clothes to review.
Hey guys! Today’s post is for you! It’s hard to find nice clothes made out of organic cotton for women, but it’s even harder to find some for men! So, Logan & Finley has kindly given this casual buttoned down shirt for my husband to review…
Ladies, did you get a chance to read part 1 and part 2 of this series? You can check out 2 lovely summer outfits from Logan & Finley.
I launched this new summer series a month ago, called Meet me at the market, all about eco-fashion and sponsored by the amazing Logan & Finley boutique, located at 670 Queen street West, in Toronto! I will publish an article showing off an outfit, every other Friday, for the whole summer!
The clothes that I have/will be showing off are made using certified organic cotton, something I feel strongly about since conventional cotton agriculture uses so much pesticides and insecticides, it is devastating for the soil, our water, our health, as well as the health of the workers working in cotton fields. If you’d like to learn more about the differences between conventional cotton and organic cotton, please read my article “What is so special about organic food? Part 2 – Beyond food”)
Logan & Finley
I teamed up with Logan & Finley in Toronto to show everyone that it is possible to live a stylish life while supporting organic agriculture and organic clothes. Logan & Finley is an urban general store, that just celebrated their 1st anniversary a few weeks ago, where quality meets local, organic, and natural. A store where you can feel good about what you’re buying, as Julie takes extra good care at picking out the best selection available. All of their items must at least meet one of her criteria to get into the store (a lot of them actually meet 2 or 3 of them): they must be local, either regional, or Canadian, they must be eco-conscious (hence why the majority of the clothes offered are organic), or they must be built-to-last (a quality rare in most cheap commercial items nowadays).
Logan & Finley sells urban modern clothes for men and women, as well as a variety of non-toxic and reusable household items like cleaners, and locally-made all-natural beauty products. They are one of the rare few to carry an extensive collection of Weck jars (those amazingly cute canning jars so popular), as well as the Abeego line of product, a Canadian-made revolutionary product meant to be used like plastic wrap on your food, but made with organic cotton and beeswax (we use ours all the time)!
If you live in the Toronto area (or close enough… day trip!), I highly recommend stopping at 670 Queen street West; say hi to Julie (the owner), and let her know Eyecandypopper sent ya! A beautiful store with a beautiful spirit. If you don’t live close enough, be patient! Logan & Finley is working on getting their online shop set-up so that you too can benefit from the great products. You can go visit the Logan & Finley website and sign-up for the newsletter to stay in-the-know! You can also like their Facebook page, and follow their Twitter account or Instagram account. 🙂
This series is meant to show off casual clothes to wear on the weekend, to go to your local Farmers’ Market, meet a friend for brunch, catch a movie, go to the cottage, etc. Whatever you want to do, there are healthy and non-polluting options! Oh, and did I mention that the prices are really affordable? They are comparable in price to any good quality items out there, if not cheaper. Remember that quality surpasses quantity.
Logan & Finley was part of 10 Best from USA Today as a super-duper-awesome destination in Toronto, why not go see it for yourself? 😉
Today’s Outfit
Today’s outfit is this beautiful buttoned down shirt made out of organic cotton for men. You can feel the high quality as soon as you touch it. So, what does my husband think about it? Well, he absolutely loves it. The shape, the length, the little details… He wears it all the time! If I wouldn’t be here to stop him, I’m pretty sure he would wear it every day. haha He’s lucky enough that he is allowed to wear casual clothes and jeans at work, so this shirt is absolutely perfect, casual and relaxed, yet dressy enough to wear for meetings and presentations with clients.
It’s also a great shirt for summer evenings, to go have a bite/drink on a patio with friends, grab a coffee at your local organic café, or go see a movie.
Thank you to Logan & Finley — 670 Queen Street West, Toronto ON, for providing my husband with this handsome shirt for today’s post!

Ok, so now for the really cool and fun part: Logan & Finley is giving away $100 gift certificate to their store for one lucky Eyecandypopper reader! How awesome is that?!! And perfect timing for Back-to-school and get some new items for fall.
This giveaway is open to anyone aged 18 and over, and because they don’t have an online store set-up yet, the winner MUST be living in the Toronto, Ontario, Canada area to pick-up the gift certificate and use it. (note: this contest is over)
Stay tuned for the next series’ post in 2 weeks, and the reveal of the giveaway’s winner!
Note: This item was a gift from Logan & Finley for me/my husband to review, however I was not compensated to write this article, and all opinions are my own.
What a beautiful shirt! The model ain’t bad either! 😉
Too bad I don’t live anywhere close because hubby really needs an upgrade in his wardrobe plus its eco-friendly. Will check them out for online shopping
Hopefully they’ll have online shopping in the fall 🙂
