Here is an easy peasy 5 min side dish: Brussel sprouts, cranberries, garlic and almonds. That’s it. That’s the whole list of ingredients. Well, not including the little bit of EVOO to roast them in the pan and the pinch of grey sea salt on top. haha
Obviously I recommend organic, especially since we’re eating the whole food (Brussel sprouts and cranberries), and these could contain a high amount of pesticides/herbicides, etc.
Bon appétit!

Easy peasy 5 min side dish: Brussel sprouts
- The quantities are really up to you, how much you have and how much you want 🙂
Just wash the Brussel sprouts, remove the first couple of yucky leaves (if there are any), trim the bottom part and cut each sprout in half. Heat your large pan over medium heat.
While this is heating up, mince your garlic and wash your cranberries. Add some high quality extra-virgin, cold-pressed, olive oil to the pan and the organic Brussel sprouts to sauté for about 3-4 minutes, add the organic garlic, organic whole cranberries and organic raw almond, chopped (or pecans), and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes. Add a pinch of unrefined grey sea salt, mix, serve and enjoy!
Delish!
yummy! Just headed over from The Art Of Doing Stuff and saw this great recipe! Definitely pinning! Cheers
Thanks for dropping by. I’m glad you liked this recipe and shared it 🙂 Welcome to my blog, I hope to see you again! 🙂
And good luck with all your renos (I checked out your blog too)!
Yum! I am making brussels sprouts for Thanksgiving tomorrow and had already bought pancetta and shallots to roast them with, but now I’m having second thoughts….I will definitely be trying this! (and I also came over from The Art of Doing Stuff)
haha Oohh! the choices! How about making both?? 🙂
Don’t say that! I’ll go crazy and end up like Phoebe on Friends when she was in charge of cups and ice and brought 12 varieties of both.
Hahaha
Yum! That sounds like a great side-dish! :3
Wanted to let you know I made this yesterday with green beans (pre-steamed) and added a bit of maple syrup to glaze. Delicious! Thank you, as always, for the inspiration!
